One Big Ride

So here it begins...

I never thought I would ever start a blog, but I guess now is as good a time as any.  My apologies if these first few posts are just a jumble of random, rambling thoughts.  I promise I'll try to get a hang of all this by the time we depart!

To those of you who I have not told yet, I am pretty proud to say that I've made my first big plans for after graduation in May.  Drumroll, please....

I am raising $6,500 dollars for the American Lung Association to ride my bike from Seattle, WA to Washington D.C. in seven weeks this summer, 2013.

Am I crazy?  Can I do this?  Maybe... but if I actually pull all this off, this experience will set the tone of my new, all "adult-like" life.
